invite you to a major learning event
Integrated Health Care: Children and Adolescents
8:30 am-12:15 pm
Thursday, November 10, 2016
MHA of Greater Houston: 2211 Norfolk Street, Suite 810, Houston, TX 77098
Event Overview: Integrated health care - the integration of physical and behavioral health care to meet people's whole health needs - is just as important for a pediatric population as for an adult population. Although it is less commonly implemented for children and adolescents than for adults, several organizations in Houston are leading the way in serving pediatric clients with integrated health care. Join us to learn from three of these organizations. A plenary panel will provide an overview of issues in pediatric integrated care, and breakout sessions will provide in-depth information about each organization's work serving children and/or adolescents, including takeaways that attendees can use in their own service settings.
