BHACA Workshop October 3, 2013

The Greater Houston Behavioral Health Affordable Care Act (BHACA) Initiative provides continuing education and support to the Network and community providers to assist them in complying with the many changes required of providers as part of the ACA.  To this end, community educational sessions were planned and conducted that addressed the identified mandate areas in which NBHP will provide education and technical assistance:  Becoming Medicaid credentialed, Adopting a certified electronic health record, and Developing outcome based evaluations.  The first community meeting addressing each of these 3 areas was held on October 3, 2013.  Handouts from the meeting are provided below:
