This Advisory Board is a collaborative alliance between academia and behavioral health employers, designed to address workforce gaps and cultivate a resilient, robust workforce. We welcome participants from high school and higher education programs, behavioral health supervisors, and employers to engage in meaningful discussions. Together, we aim to forge strong connections that empower the next generation of behavioral health professionals. HistoryThe WREDI Program Advisory Board (est. 2025) began as the Behavioral Health Education and Employment Roundtable, which started as a virtual project in 2021 by The Network of Behavioral Health Providers (NBHP).
We connected academia and employers virtually and, through the collaborative, hosted our first Behavioral Health Internship and Practicum Fair in 2022 - which is now hosted twice a year by NBHP. In 2025, the Roundtable was redirected to an Advisory Board - offering members the opportunity to receive pertinent information on the WREDI program's 5 facets, provide valuable feedback and engage in opportunities to serve the program's needs. |
