A.I. Ethics in Behavioral Health Care
Join us for our October 2026 CEU training, on Friday, October 16, 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Zoom.
2 hours of CEU credit will be available to select behavioral health providers: LMFTs, LPCs, LCDCs, CHWs, Peer Support Specialists, Licensed Psychologists, and Licensed Social Workers.

Objectives:
- Identify key ethical, clinical, and privacy risks associated with AI in behavioral healthcare, including bias, hallucinations, overreliance on automated outputs, data privacy, and inappropriate substitution for clinical judgment.
- Evaluate appropriate applications of AI across behavioral health workflows, including clinical documentation, treatment planning, measurement-based care, risk and engagement signals, supervision, administrative functions, and patient engagement.
- Apply practical principles for responsible AI adoption, including human oversight, transparency, data protection, explainability, clinician accountability, and a phased approach to introducing AI into existing clinical workflows.
