Continuation of work begun with a grant from the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health to the Harris County Healthcare Alliance is currently under review by the Foundation. If approved, the Network would work with Mental Health American of Greater Houston and the 211 United Way Helpline in implementing a number of specific changes that would ultimately result in a more effective response system for individuals in the community seeking behavioral health services. If approved, the work would commence in late spring 2011 and be completed in a year's time.
